MISSIONARIES : PASTOR R ABRAHAM & MRS JOYCE ABRAHAM
In the Christian Life everything starts with obedience. Pastor R Abraham as a missionary in his own country, stepped into a life he could never have dreamt of, with a far reaching platform, around India and the World. It is a life of service under God’s Banner, covered by God’s Love, and based on the foundation of Jesus Christ his Lord and Saviour. Pastor R Abraham’s obedience, to the call of God on his life to serve Him, to give up his job/career and everything he knew and owned, has turned into a great blessing for him and also to many thousands of people throughout India and around the World.
Pastor R Abraham’s motivation in following the call of God to join the ministry was to be able to spread the ‘Love of God’ that he had received and experienced when he accepted Jesus Christ in to his life. He still remembers the time when he started the ministry from the streets with no money, no friends and no ministry experience. Through being obedient to God, he received the vision to reach the lost and unreached people of the nation of India. As he reflects back to when he was 21 years old and first started out on his journey, he can now see everything that has been achieved, has been purely because of the Faithfulness, Grace and Favour of God upon his life and not because of his natural talents and abilities.
As he grows older, many may think that he is on his way towards retirement, but be reassured he has promised he will stay faithful to the call of God until his last breath. His only desire is for God to continue this vision that He gave him for the generations to come.
PRAYER & WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Mrs Joyce Abraham is an important pillar to the NICOG ministry. Blessed with two daughters Sheril, Roshin and one son Ranjit, who also play a major part in this ministry. Joyce is also a loving Grandmother to four grandchildren. She is passionate about serving the women of her community while equipping and encouraging them to do more for the Body of Christ. Joyce leads the “Fasting and Praying Marathon” and the “Chain Prayer” along with many other women’s meetings in her church community. Her vision is to transform India with the Power of God and make true disciples of Jesus Christ.

New India Church of God in India (NICOG) is a Church Movement and as such is the initiator of many transformational Christian ministries in the nation of India. Even though it was established with “church planting” as its main ministry which is still its focus today, NICOG in accordance with God`s plan has found itself being the hands and feet of the Lord Jesus Christ in many more areas of serving and making the Love of Christ tangible to thousands upon thousands of people in villages, towns and cities of India. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached, the downtrodden of society and disenfranchised are fed and clothed, the poor are educated, and skills are taught to empower uneducated people to make a livelihood.
